Globe House, Frome Gateway, Bristol

Pearce Planning Limited were appointed by Investin Plc (Orangestar) to review a refused planning application and co-ordinate and manage a new submission for 68 residential dwellings and commercial space in the defined Regeneration Area of Frome Gateway.

The team worked with ECE Westworks, Conversation PR and the wider technical team to address the previous concerns raised during the last application. The facade of Globe House is retained and new buildings provide a range of apartments. Key issues included design, noise mitigation, change of use, highways and management of the proposals whilst the wider area Framework was being prepared.

Consent was granted in 2024 following negotiation of the 20% affordable mix and the S106.
