2Q 2025

Pearce Planning were shortlisted for the second year running in the RTPI Small Consultancy of the Year Award 2025 alongside some great SW planning and urban design firms. We were also notified that our planning work for Crown Student Living on the Former Gala Bingo Site in Nottingham was shortlisted for Project of the Year - East Midlands Branch of the RTPI.

Our congratulations go to Place Studio who won the SW Award in June. Well deserved. We are very proud to have been shortlisted and pleased with the comments made: by the judges.

New project work and clients continue to come in and it is fantastic to see some projects taking shape on the ground ready for this academic year and providing future living spaces and offices. Looking strong!

1Q 2025

The past few months has seen Pearce Planning Ltd obtain some great decisions for our clients - small and large! Consents for roof plant, office cycle parking/showers, householder extension in the Green Belt, Green Belt single unit, a COU to Hotel use saving enforcement action, COU from retail to PBSA, all the way up to full planning permission at Longcross Court, Cardiff 706 beds and assisting with the submission on Brent Cross Plot 43B 666 beds (both for Fusion Group). A huge amount of new work being commissioned as well across the country and Nicola is leading our presence at the Bristol Local Plan Inquiry - which reminds me to say Happy International Women’s Day for 8 March Nic! Cheers - You are amazing!

2024 was hugely successful for the company receiving 5 awards and being a finalist in the national PBSA awards. We have worked on some incredible projects throughout the UK. Thank you to all our clients.

We are excited with the projects we are appointed on so far for 2025 and also to see consents being implemented and buildings being completed and opened this year! Brent Cross London and Nottingham progressing well.

PBSA work continues to grow nationally, residential instructions particularly BtR and also two hotel operators

We are extremely proud to share the news that we have been recognised in the PBSA sector by Property Week and are confirmed Finalists in the Legal / Professional Team of the Year in the National Awards.

Our work in the Student Accommodation sector is extensive and covers the UK and we rival national consultancies on our experience in this significant land use sector.

December 2024 - An excellent evening at Wembley Stadium for the awards dinner - came home empty handed but full of pride!

Pearce Planning Ltd were shortlisted by the RTPI for their Planning Excellence Awards “Small Consultancy of the Year”. We are delighted to share that we were commended by our governing body’s South West Branch and picked up our award in the sunshine at Taunton Cricket Ground.
