Cognatum Estates - Retirement Living

Members of Pearce Planning have worked with Cognatum for over 10 years and advise on their existing estates and review potential new sites. Our role is on a national basis and we have worked on sites in the South West as well as the Midlands, Cheshire, Surrey and Kent. The work is varied and can include advice and applications concerning improvements to the current estate, appraisal reviews for potential development sites, promotion of sites through the Local Plan process and Neighbourhood Plan, applications for development and management of these applications.

Cognatum Estates provide homes for the over 55s where an element of care can be provided and support / community facilities are also delivered. We have worked with their chosen architect Richard Morton and co-ordinated other consultants to provide pre-application and application material and been involved in consultation exercises to promote later living with the UKs ageing population.
